

Benefit Summary
At PetWow we know you will be on your feet quite a bit; and that means heavy wear and tear on your work shoes. For this reason we offer an annual shoe purchase allowance to eligible team members.
The annual amount of shoe allowance which each eligible team member may spend may be found within each team member's "Benefits" Tab within their "MY INFO" section of BambooHR
SHOE ALLOWANCE
Eligibility

Basic Eligibility:

A team member must have "Part-Time/Partial-Benefits" employment status, which means having averaged 48 hrs per bi-weekly pay period (24 hrs/week) over the last 6 bi-weekly pay periods (or if newly hired, anticipated to average 24 hrs/week over the next 6 bi-weekly pay periods); or hold a managerial, professional groomer, or veterinarian job title. Calculated hours include regular hours, overtime hours, paid vacation hours, paid holiday hours, paid sick day hours, and paid continuing education hours.

Shoe Allowance Policies Which Must be Met for Reimbursement:

Work Shoes Only: The PetWow shoe allowance benefit only pertains to the purchase of shoes worn during the performance of work duties. Shoes must comply with uniform standards outlined in the PetWow Staff Policy Agreement.

Paid Once Annually: PetWow's shoe allowance benefit is paid only once per year for eligible team members.

Allowance Limits: Please note that PetWow will only reimburse UP TO the specified annual shoe allowance amount listed within each eligible team member's "Benefits" Tab within the "MY INFO" section of BambooHR. If the shoe purchase is under the allowance amount, PetWow will NOT pay the team member the difference between the shoe purchase price and allowance amount. Conversely, if the shoe purchase is MORE than the allowance amount, PetWow will only reimburse the allowance amount.

Enrollment
Eligible team members are automatically assigned issued uniforms or a uniform spending allowance immediately upon employment.
If you believe that you have become eligible for PetWow's uniform benefit, or for a change in uniform benefit settings, based on a change in role and/or hours worked per week, please contact PetWow human resources through use of our BENEFITS FORM.
