Benefit Summary

Initial Uniform Distribution:

Upon employment, PetWow human resources will assess measurements and issue uniforms in the types and quantities described below. Usually, uniform elements are issued on the first day of employment. However, in some cases there may be a delay due to the need to obtain special sizing and/or embroidering.

Team Members Generally

PetWow pays for 3 sets of scrub tops and scrub pants for all employees whether full-time or part-time.

Professional Groomers

Professional groomers are given a uniform spending allowance in accord with their role duties. This allowance amount is established as part of each groomer's contract.

Veterinarians

Veterinarians are given a uniform spending allowance in accord with their role duties. This allowance amount is established as part of each veterinarian's contract.

Managers
-
Managers are given a uniform spending allowance in accord with their role duties. This allowance amount is established as part of each manager's contract.

Replacement Uniforms

PetWow will freely replace discolored, or otherwise damaged and unsightly uniform elements (scrub tops, scrub pants, groomer jackets, veterinarian lab jackets) according to the following stipulations:

The staff member must return the damaged uniform element to PetWow in order to receive a free replacement.

The causes resulting in the uniform element's damage must be work related. PetWow will not freely replace uniform elements damaged outside of work related duties. Staff members whose uniform elements are damaged through non work-related duties will be required to purchase replacement uniform elements.

NOTE: This replacement policy does not apply to full time managerial team members, as the annual uniform allowance described above is designed to cover both initial and replacement uniform needs.
