

PAID SICK DAYS
Benefit Summary
In addition to paid vacation time, PetWow offers additional "Sick" day paid time off to its managerial, professional groomer, and veterinarian team members. Unlike paid vacation which is scheduled and planned, paid sick days can be utilized after the occurrence of an illness which prevented a team member form coming to work. The amount of paid sick time which each team member earns during the course of each year is determined by the team member's role, their average hours worked per week, and the number of years they have worked at PetWow.

Basic Eligibility:

A team member must a manager, professional pet groomer, or veterinarian to be eligible for Paid Sick Days.

Eligible team members can find their current Paid Sick Days accrual setting, remaining paid Sick Day balances, and historical paid Sick Day usage under their "Time-Off" tab within their "MY INFO" section of BambooHR.
Eligible team members can also find the monthly and annual Paid Sick Days benefit which they can expect to earn based upon their role, average hours worked per week, and length of employment within their "Time-Off benefits" folder in their "FILES" section of BambooHR.
Enrollment
Eligible team members are automatically assigned an annual paid Sick Days accrual track when they are first hired at PetWow, and they begin accruing paid Sick Days immediately. The paid Sick Days track which they are initially placed upon is based upon their role and anticipated hours worked per week - a discussion which takes place as part of the initial job offer.
