

PAID HOLIDAYS
Benefit Summary
PetWow recognizes several official holidays during each calendar year in which PetWow is not open for business (PetWow is always closed on Sundays). For each official holiday which PetWow recognizes, the company pays eligible team members (see eligibility requirements below) as if they had worked that holiday, even though PetWow is not open for business. PetWow recognizes six (6) holidays:

Eligibility

Basic Eligibility:

A Team member must have "Full-Time/Full-Benefits" employment status, which means having averaged 64 hrs per bi-weekly pay period (32hrs/week) over the last 6 bi-weekly pay periods, or hold a salaried position. For hourly team members, calculated hours include regular hours, overtime hours, paid vacation hours, paid holiday hours, paid sick day hours, and paid continuing education hours.

In addition, the team member must work the work-day immediately prior to, and the work-day immediately after the holiday (unless scheduled off by management for business/rotation reasons). In other words, if an otherwise eligible team member calls in sick, schedules elective time off, or ceases employment so as to miss either the working day prior to, or the working day after, an official holiday; pay for that holiday will not be granted.

Team members can see whether they are enrolled in the holiday pay benefit within the "Team Perks" tab of their BambooHR account.

Holiday benefits are available to eligible team members immediately upon meeting eligibility requirements. See "Eligibility Requirements" Above.
