Benefit Summary

PetWow pays for each full time veterinarian’s Kentucky Veterinary License renewal throughout their employment with PetWow.

KENTUCKY VET LICENSE PAID

Eligibility

Basic Eligibility:
- A Team member must be a veterinarian to be eligible for the Paid Kentucky Vet License benefit.

Eligible team members may verify eligibility for this benefit under their "Benefits" Tab within their "MY INFO" section of BambooHR.

Enrollment

PetWow veterinarians may pay for their Kentucky Vet License themselves and then present proof of payment to PetWow for reimbursement. Alternatively, PetWow veterinarians may present their unpaid Kentucky Vet License Application or Renewal bill directly to PetWow for direct payment by the company.
Veterinarians may request reimbursement or direct payment of the application or renewal by uploading their receipt(s) or renewal bill using PetWow's Human Resources BENEFIT FORM.

Frequently asked questions

If a veterinarian ceases employment with PetWow, for either voluntary or involuntary reasons, less than six (6) months after PetWow has paid the cost of a Kentucky licensure for that veterinarian, the entire amount of that licensure payment will be withheld from the veterinarian's last paycheck.
If the gross amount of the veterinarian's last paycheck is insufficient to cover the value of the licensure payment made, any remaining difference between the owed value of the licensure benefit paid and the amount actually withheld from the last paycheck shall become a legally binding debt owed to PetWow.
